I found this Timbertrain location quite by accident. I have been through this neighbourhood sporadically
when visiting the York theatre or Earnest Ice Cream, however recently saw their signage when passing by.
Their "Depot" location is roomier than their Gastown spot, and houses their roaster in the back. Limited bakes but a
fun atmosphere and more seating that gives a digital-nomad vibe. The latte was hot and shared the same flavour as their other location.
The flavour is very nice, certainly dark but a little on the light side. There is an oaky warmness lent to the milk. I really enjoy the texture of their milk
almost as much as JJ Bean, but the flavour is a little more muted. I would say this is a great place to sit down and get some work done over a nice latte or two.
